Welcome to World Libraries an international, electronic journal focusing on libraries and socio-economic development

World Libraries is a unique, free, peer-reviewed library and information science journal dedicated to librarians and libraries in regions without associations or agencies to encourage scholarly communication and professional development. Beginning in the summer of 2005 WL has evolved into an electronic journal, first co-publishing with the print edition and then moving to an internet only edition. In addition to publishing new issues, the journal will continue to add articles from our archive as well as unique, web only content.
